I have the distinct pleasure of bringing you a review for Day 110 in my challenge – there will be more reviews I’m sure before this challenge is done. The amazing folks at Underwear Station sent me a few pair of the 2012 line of Intymen to test drive. I have three pair to review, one of which is a thong – so be on the lookout for that boys. This is my second pair up for review – so the last one up will be the thong. Today I pulled this one out – it’s the black Racer Stripe Bikini.
These are like the Filter Bikini I reviewed earlier this week, except the material on these is 96% Cotton and 4% Spandex and it’s super soft and stretchy. It fit like a glove and conformed the shape of my body so well all day. It was amazing to wear and felt great on all day! Other than the material being different – these are a bit different due to the white piping around the legs and the red and white stripes running up and down the left hand side of the undies themselves.
There is a little bit of a pouch in the front, so the boys didn’t feel crushed all day and were able to hang out and breathe nicely. I also love that the material gives and moves with you – that meant that when I sat down or stood back up the boys felt protected and secure and there was no flopping around going on.
I have the same issue/drawback with these that I had with the Filter Bikini. The one drawback, however minor, that I have with the design is the rear coverage. I love the cut, I just wish that the coverage on the rear were a bit fuller. I didn’t find myself walking around with a wedgie or that the fabric had bunched itself up and worked it’s way further up my cheeks than it should have, but towards the end of the day, I felt like there was potential for that to happen. I feel like a bit more coverage in the rear would have solved that issue nicely. Otherwise this is a spectacular pair of undies!
For those of you that are loyal readers, you know our review scale. For those that aren’t here’s a bit of a review:
Flirting Material: It fits okay, really great to wear out for a short amount of time
Hookup Material: The fit is much better, sits well and wears well, but might not be comfortable for all day wear.
Dating Material: The fit is great, sits well, accentuates the positives and wears really well – suitable for all day wear.
Match Made in Heaven: You love the fit, you love the style, best undies you’ve worn in years and will be part of your regular wear.
Having worn them all day and really enjoyed them, I would rate them somewhere between Dating Material and Match Made in Heaven! They would have been a flat out Match Made in Heaven had I not experienced the bit of uncomfort towards the end of the day with the rear coverage. These are a great pair of undies – sexy, stylish, wicked comfortable and look great on! Thanks again to the great folks at Underwear Station who furnished these for the purpose of this review!
