Blue and White stripes automatically make me think of something very nautical. Nautical Stripes if you will. I sometimes wonder about why we are drawn to certain patterns or combinations of colours. For example, I am really drawn to blues and purples, and lately orange too. Although, the orange might just be a time of year thing, or perhaps there’s been a bit too much of the cheeto jesus on tv.
There is something very comforting about nautical stripes…like you’re being lulled to sleep on a ship under the stars. Although nothing about being on a ship makes me feel calm, I’m okay with a quick ferry ride, but I don’t sleep well or even get lulled to sleep on a boat…not my thing. But I do find nautical stripes very calming. For whatever reason, even though it goes against what’s in my head. Colours and patterns have an impact on our psyche. Inevitable fact apparently. I took 4 pics this morning and I couldn’t decide which one I liked most, so mushed them all together into one pic and am sharing that with you…4 angles, all at once!
