*** Review – Day 581 – White Tommy Hilton Briefs – Review ***

Ed note: Apologies to Tommy Hilton and to the readers. I had hit post on this last night and then got wrapped up in other things and didn’t double check. I was hanging out with another underwear lover, lost track of time and then just went to bed without checking the blog one more time and I didn’t log in to check until tonight to post today’s post. Apologies. Date has been adjusted for date it should have been published.

We’ve reviewed Tommy Hilton trunks before, as you may remember. We were super excited when they asked us to review some of their new briefs, and being the underwear lovers that we are, of course we said yes! I have the honor of posting the first of the reviews for Undies101 and there will be three more, every Wednesday throughout August! Stay tuned for reviews from Jake, Bulgeboy and our new blogger Dustin.

When the briefs came, we got a small, a medium and two pair of Large. I’ve got a pair of the Large to wear and review, in white. Never my favourite colour for underwear, but I sent the black pair off to Jake. Everyone needs a good pair of white briefs though, and these have a bit of pop with the black stitching and the silver waist band, so definitely not you average boring tighty whiteys.

They are made of 95% cotton and 5% Spandex and have a bit of stretch to them. The waist band is a bit snug, but gave throughout the day, so must just have been the initial reaction to being out of the package! The rest of the fit is spot on! They have a full seat on them, which is great and didn’t ride up once during the day of up and down. They are a bit fuller in the front than I typically enjoy, but these sat really well, and I didn’t notice after initially put them on. There wasn’t a ton of extra fabric around to bunch and sag – a huge bonus! These were really great for everyday wear.

For our regular readers, skip down a paragraph for my official rating, for those of you that are not regular readers, or are joining us for the first time, our ratings scale is:

Flirting Material: It fits okay, really great to wear out for a short amount of time.

Hookup Material: The fit is much better, sits well and wears well, but might not be comfortable for all day wear.

Dating Material:  The fit is great, sits well, accentuates the positives and wears really well – suitable for all day wear.

Match Made in Heaven: You love the fit, you love the style, best undies you’ve worn in years and will be part of your regular wear.

These are a great pair of underwear, however they are a little fuller than my tastes usually gravitate to (hip briefs would have been amazing) and given that the fit was a bit snug in the waist, despite being a size up from my normal, I am going to give them very solid Dating Material. Huge thanks to the guys at Tommy Hilton for providing these briefs for the purpose of this review. If you haven’t checked them out yet, I suggest you do so. They have some great and fun underwear to add to your collection!
