Fitness Introduction

It’s not really an introduction- you all should know me by now. I’m using this introduction as a way to let you all in on why we decided to do this Fitness Challenge.

I make it no secret that I have been working on my fitness. That I want to tone up more, that I’ve wanted to lose some weight and flatten out my tummy. I’ve been working on these things for a while now. I know I’m not alone. I joke all the time that I work out to fight my genes so I don’t end up fighting my jeans. That’s true.

We also believe here that everyone can look hot and sexy in their underwear. They need to find the style and cut and fit that is right and best for them and flaunt it. That doesn’t mean that some of us don’t have things we want to work on, for ourselves. I still believe that everyone can look sexy in their undies and working out and toning up doesn’t change that thought process.

I am not an underwear model, nor will I ever be one. My working out and toning up isn’t going to make me one. It’s going to make me feel better about myself. Feeling better about myself is going to help my confidence and that is going to help me feel better in my underwear and then I will look better in them. If you feel better, you look better – you project your confidence more.

When RWraith55 and I first started chatting about this we tossed around a few ideas. We started to figure out if we knew any trainers that would be willing to participate – we found a great one and he’ll be introducing himself in the next few days along with all of our other participants. You’ve met Wes and there are others that will be joining us – some familiar faces that you’ve seen here on the blog before and some new folks we knew would be great additions. We’re all going to cheer each other on, be honest about our goals, our successes and our setbacks. We hope you’ll stay tuned and join us – cheer us on, participate in some of the challenges our trainer sets out for us and keep us up to date on your progress as well! Every third week our trainer will be answering your questions – so email him if you’ve got some fitness questions. We’re all in this together. The more we feel better, the more confident we are and the more confident we are, the better we look! It’s a very zen thing!
