N2N Bodywear Review – Wave Runner Swimwear

Slightly late review. I blame the different time-zones! Even so, I’m very excited about my first review of N2N Bodywear; a brand that has increasingly gained popularity over the last while. And, even just skimming through their website you can tell why.

I’ll detail the range and styles that N2N offer in a later review, but for this review I just want to talk about their Wave Runner style of swimwear.

Growing up by the beach, during the summer I’d nearly be in swimwear more than I would be in regular clothes. I’m also a sucker for classic design and the old 1960’s/ 1970’s style swimwear. That is why I adored this style. It jumped out to me on the website when I saw it and certainly jumped on me the minute I opened the package. It is very much that old school surfer style which I love, right down to the drawstring. When I tried them on first I nearly had to stop myself singing “Surfin’ Bird”.

The fit is snug but not too tight. This is a style to walk/ run/ swim in; not just pose in (though you’ll definitely get looks posing in them). I haven’t gotten them wet yet. I’m still waiting for someone to whisk me off to a beach in Spain for a week (hint hint)

Rating: Match Made In Heaven.
Where to Wear: On a sunny beach. Where I can come out of the water like Daniel Craig in Casino Royale.
Where not to Wear: As much as I love them, I don’t think I’d be wearing these to the local swimming pool. London isn’t prepared for swimming trunks this fabulous.
