We here at Undies101 are really fortunate to work with our friends from N2N Bodywear again. They have taken care of us so well. You all have been really fortunate and got to see RWraith review the Air Jock and DJBakelite talk about the Maverick swimsuit…and didn’t they both look hot in them?? It’s my turn to review the first pair of undies I’ve got from N2N – the Haze Pouch in Indigo Blue.
This brief is a size Medium, my typical underwear size. I say typical because we all know that there are certain brands that run small and you have to go up a size, or big and you end up going down a size or two. N2N Bodywear has always been consistent with their sizing, it’s true to size and fits amazing well. They really mean it when they say it feels like you’re wearing Next 2 Nothing. If you’ve never worn anything by them, you definitely need to check them out.
I’ve always found their underwear to be made so well. They are always thinking about the little things. The feel of the fabric against your skin. How it sits on your waist. The material the waistband is made from, how much elastic is used and how that can keep the goods contained or let them slip out.
I asked my twitter followers what they’d like to hear about in an underwear review and I got the following categories: bulge, comfort and looks. Let’s tackle looks first, shall we?
I think this pair of undies looks HOT! That’s one of the reasons I wanted to review them! I love blue – that’s no secret, but the tie-dyed effect of these briefs was really cool and I wanted to try them out. I have a few other pair of briefs from N2N that follow this basic design premise and they are all super comfortable. Well, that tackles another of the items to discuss – comfort. These are a 90% cotton and 10% spandex blend – making them super comfy with a bit of give. These are definitely easy to wear all day.
Lastly, I’ll tackle the bulge category. These briefs have an anatomical pouch built in. Meaning you put your goods into the pouch and they hang free, much like they would if you were freeballing. It’s an amazing feeling. Everything just hangs there and flops around. That means it creates quite a bulge in your pants. I’m not the most endowed of boys and even I get a bit of a lift and bulge from these. I wore dress pants today instead of jeans. I am used to the bulge effect in jeans, but the effect in dress pants was pronounced. I almost felt a bit too XXX walking around today. Because it’s an anatomical pouch, you really do just go where you would go when you walk. Quite salacious. =)
Hope that has helped you determine if these are ones you want to try or not. I highly recommend them, which brings me to my rating. As you know, here at Undies101 we use a bit of a different ratings scale. We approach our underwear review as a relationship – after all, you might have some underwear longer than the boy you’re currently dating. Our scale is:
Flirting Material: It fits okay, really great to wear out for a short amount of time
Hookup Material: The fit is much better, sits well and wears well, but might not be comfortable for all day wear.
Dating Material: The fit is great, sits well, accentuates the positives and wears really well – suitable for all day wear.
Match Made in Heaven: You love the fit, you love the style, best undies you’ve worn in years and will be part of your regular wear.
Based on that scale, I definitely give these a Match Made in Heaven! I love the way these fit me – like I said, I’m a medium and these are definitely true to size. I love the style and they are definitely among the best undies I have worn and once I’m done with this current wear every single pair of underwear I own challenge, they will definitely be part of my regular wear cycle!
