When I became an uncle, I vowed to not give my nephews a present that they didn’t want. I can remember growing up and getting gifts that made me wonder either what they were or why the hell you’d give them to a kid. There’s nothing worse than being a kid and getting a gift that you don’t like. So…every year I strive to get my nephews what they really want. This year, I thought I had that covered, and was all excited to see it being opened…the reaction…less than I expected. I’m not sure he was as excited about it as I thought he’d be…oh well. I tried.
