is settling in. It’s just after 8PM here, and I’m trying to keep my eyes open for a little bit longer so I will sleep through the night. The 13 hour flight here was a killer…but I am now able to say I’ve flown on the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380…upper deck. It was really amazing. It’s HUGE. It’s easy to feel dwarfed on a regular plane, but on this one you look even smaller. We loaded via 2 skyways…we dis-embarked through 2 as well. I’d say from start of boarding to finished boarding was 35 minutes…not bad. It’s a very comfortable flight (okay, yes, I was in business class) with not as much sound as you’re accustomed to hearing, and it was a much smoother take off…the landing is a bit rough though…that’s a huge beast to get back on the ground.
