Its time for an official introduction to a new brand out on the market. The boys and I here at Undies 101 have already started reviewing this great need brand and I asked for the opportunity to give you the background (aka 411). The brand is called Bum-Chum and they popped up on the market in 2009. The amazing founders Craig and Gareth have put together a high quality number of products that give both color and flare to men’s underwear. Bum-chums underwear is designed to provide essential masculine support, whilst naturally emphasizing and enhancing the male physique. Only the highest quality fabrics are used, and they are chosen, not only for their tactility and form defining characteristics, but also for their durability. Bum-Chums are available in a number of styles to choose from, ranging from hipster, hip-brief, jock, thong and swim-briefs. Also, sizes range from extra small to extra large and based on my experience this brand is not only for the skinny small boys out there. Its for the “MEN” too. The “MEN” who love underwear that fits and has the color and style they are looking for.
I bet you are wondering where did they come up with the name “bum-chum”? The phrase “bum chum” was originally coined by surfers in reference to their close friends who “watch their back” while riding the waves. Craig is an avid surfer and thought the name would be a great for a underwear brand. And I would have to agree with him. I think is both creative and a bit “suggestive” which is always a good thing when it comes to underwear.
The second addition to their product lines is a range of thongs, available in the spectacular Celestial foils, the bold fruity and suggestive Sneak Peek ranges. The design elements of their new line of thongs include supportive and enhancing front pouch, finished with a stylish contrasting centreline, to the narrow sides, flourishing with a broad ‘y’ shaped rear panel that plunges to a central string, the new thong makes a dramatic and confidently stylish statement. As Gareth says, ‘The bum-chums’ thong is comfortable, subtly revealing and bold in it’s simplicity!’
