YOCISCO “Where Sexy Starts”…

This was my first time trying out the brand YOCISCO. So where do I begin? Well let me start by giving you a little background on the brand. The brand started back in 2013 by a Mexican-Italian designer/model/entertainer named Cisco. Drawing inspiration from where he lives, Cisco decided to release limited edition briefs with color blocking and graphic of the Denver skyline for his initial launch. After the success of the brands first collection in 2013 they released an even larger collection in 2014. After such positive reception and in such a short period of time retailers began to reach out to the brand. YOCISCO is now carried in ten boutiques around the Unites States as well as the United Kingdom. For now YOCISCO only carries two styles of underwear briefs and trunks. Both styles of underwear are branded on their trendy thick waistbands, which always look good sticking out of your favorite pair of jeans. Each collection has a different kind of waistband specific to that collection which is always interesting for the consumer. I was fortunate enough to be sent a pair of medium light blue “Eat Cake” trunks. Now all of YOCISCO’s underwear collections are made from bamboo fabric which is soft to touch and sustainable. So of course these are as well. These campy trunks can be found in 3 colors; white, berry and of course light blue. So lets get this review started. I received my underwear in the mail and rushed inside to try them on. They where packed in a small clear pouch with the brand printed across the seal. Once removed from the package the first thing I noticed was the weight or lack there of. They are super light weight and breathable which is ideal. Definitely a pair I could wear all year round. I was told the pair I would be receiving would be “fun” I asked how so but I was told that it was a “surprise”.  Boy was I surprised. Once I had them completely out of the pouch I held them away from my face to get the full picture. The waist band was interesting and the colors really popped. When I turned them around to see the back side I lightly chuckled. I found the surprise. Printed on the back it says Let Them Eat CAKE with a literal piece of cake. Smiling, I undressed and slid the fun pair of trunks on. They fit like a glove. The bamboo clings to your body like a second skin, morphing to the curves of your body. The stitching is superb and the elastic bands on the thighs are a nice contrast in color to the rest of the trunk. I wore them to work and found that they did not ride up or cause me to sweat. My boyfriend was also a big fan asking me to turn around every 5 minutes to show him the backside (and my backside). So overall definitely one of my new favorite pairs.
