Over the years I’ve tried to introduce my parents to technology…and keep them up to date, as much as possible. I don’t have them to the point that they will get rid of their land line yet…but they both have a cell phone. My Mom has a blackberry too…and is all over it…emailing and facebooking like a pro. I’ve finally got them both on laptops with wireless connections…so now they’re mobile all over the house and still able to be connected and online…it’s a bit amazing to me. My grandmother’s went to their graves not using a microwave or VCR out of a bit of fear of technology…at least my Mom won’t be that way…
