or too picky? or maybe too cynical? Maybe I should be a theatre critic? I don’t know. Saw a show tonight, new one on the West End…not sure it will make it to Broadway…based on a very popular movie. The cast (leads) all had amazing voices…there was some definite theatre magic happening with some of the special effects and there was some technically stunning stuff going on with regard to the sets and automation…I just really didn’t connect with the show. There were folks crying all around me, and I just didn’t connect at all, until one scene about 15 minutes from the end, and even then, only for a few short moments…
