these days every brand has extra marketing on their waistbands. Andrew Christian, Emporio Armani, 2xist, etc. Seems everywhere you look you see what brand a guy is wearing, just by looking at his waistband. This can be fun, but it can also be a bit too much. Now I’m all for a supportive waistband – they really can do more than just be the functional way to hold your briefs up. And I don’t mind a bit of marketing around the waist, if the waistbands are comfortable to start with. 
When AC first came on the market, he had this anti-roll waist band. It was thin, stretchy and easy to wear. It, like all his others, had his name all around the elastic. There’s nothing wrong with that. This pair of briefs however, has a much thicker waistband, which isn’t quite as much fun or as comfortable to me. They’re from the TBD pile – and they have a great pouch and are super soft…just not sure the wasitband is going to send it to the outcast pile or not. Wearing them all day will help me decide.
