If you are a man that demands your underwear be comfortable and stylish without padding, you’ll want to get to know McKillop Underwear. Founded in 2009 by Ryan McKillop – who likes his underwear to not just look good on you but wants to make sure you feel good in it as well.
Ryan says he “was making dresses and gearing up to be on Project Runway Canada then they cancelled the show and I wondered what to do next. I had made a pair of UW for me a year earlier and brought them to Topdrawers, which is a block away from me, and asked if they liked them. They did and soon they were flying off the shelf.”
Knowing he had stumbled onto a good thing, he found a bigger factory and Mckillop UW was born. Its been pretty exciting. He spent much of 2009 and 2010 figuring things out has emerged with great new ides and a strong direction for 2011 that focuses on helping guys get the courage to say hello to new people.
Ryan says, “Men have been too dependent on dating sites and it doesn’t work its just easier but the results don’t produce. So Mckillop UW is focused on addressing the issues facing our customer (primarily Gay but we are trying to address this movement as neutral) and making them look amazing at the same time.”
What a great goal for an underwear company – to actually care how their customers look and taking that new found confidence a great pair of underwear gives you to make strides in other aspects of your life.
