there’s a huge difference between being alone and feeling lonely. I have spent years figuring out that it’s perfectly okay to do things by yourself. I credit NYC with that, and a job that has me travel, most of it solo. When you’re by yourself on the road – you get used to eating alone, going out to the bars alone or exploring the new city. and being alone doesn’t mean you’re lonely…you might be…but the two are not the same thing…
