iPad…

so, I didn’t think I would ever own one. It seems like a really cool gadget, but why spend all that money on a piece of technology that you can’t really carry in your pocket, is about the same size as your laptop and doesn’t do as much as your laptop. Don’t get me wrong, I think they’re cool as shit, but I just couldn’t see spending all that money on one, just to have a toy…

I was at my holiday party at work recently, and there was a raffle for a few prizes – gift certificates, dinners, tickets to shows, and 2 iPads. I never win anything…my name got drawn to win one of the iPads…I was shocked as shit. I picked it up and have played with it a little this weekend…I freaking love it! Now to get a book or two on there and see how I enjoy reading a book on the pad…
