I own a bunch of briefs that are animal print, but none that are a subtle animal print on mesh like these. I think that’s what drew me to these. I saw them and it took a while for my eye to see the very subtle print, but once I did, I couldn’t un-see it and then I knew I had to have them. It’s a different kind of subtlety and a different kind of animal print. There are some things that Andrew Christian is doing that I don’t enjoy anymore, and I definitely don’t buy nearly as much as I used to from them. There are some things that I do enjoy about them and that I feel like they are doing right. Waistbands happens to be one. I didn’t always like their waistbands and some of the stiffer ones of days gone by weren’t great. Lately these lighter weight and thinner waistbands are great. They are of the no fold variety which is great. They sit well on your waist, no matter where you have them sit – lower down or higher up. Have been enjoying that lately every time I put a new pair on, despite some of the legit criticisms.
