Box Menswear Swimming Trunks-Speedos

Hi guys, JJ here again. This time, I have a swimsuit for you from Box Menswear. They are a great UK based company with a wide range of products, including swimwear, underwear, socks, and gym wear. Check out their site, and also the review I did on their boxer briefs last week!

This little number is a sexy black bikini style swimsuit. Everyone needs a little black bikini in their swimsuit drawer, right? They go a little further with some small details like a BOX logo on the front and a checkerboard stripe across the back in a cool green color. It is made of 88% Polyamide and 12% Spandex, with a mesh lining. No tags or labels hanging out, and a drawstring waist.

I immediately fell in love with this suit when I got it. I love the basic black bikini cut and style. Always a classic option for a pool party or vacation where you want to wear a skimpy suit but keep it classy. With green being my favorite color, I love the small details they added. The cut is very traditional bikini/speedo style, which is perfect for the everyday beach and pool scene. Everything stays well covered, but certainly shows off the assets nicely no matter what.

I found the pouch area to be quite ample for holding all the goods in, and the elastine/spandex combo is a thin lightweight material that feels great and stretches. No wardrobe malfunctions here! I love how thin and sleek the material is, versus some other speedos you get that seem really heavy and bulky. The only thing I didn’t love was how long the drawstrings were. They have some nice gold detailing at the ends that looks great, but they are too long to keep outside of the suit in my opinion. But no big deal to tuck them in for a sleeker look.

With that said, here is a reminder of the Undies 101 official rating system:

Flirting Material:  It fits okay, great to wear out for a short amount of time.

Hook Up Material:  The fit is much better, sits well and wears well but might not be comfortable for all day wear.

Dating Material:  The fit is great, sits well, accentuates the positives and wears really well – suitable for all day wear.

Match Made in Heaven:  You love the fit, you love the style, best undies you’ve worn in  years and will be a part of your regular wear.

I really enjoy this swimsuit both aesthetically and comfort wise, I will definitely give it a go at the beach or pool as soon as I can (yes I live near the best nude beach in the US, so I tend to go for a thong or nothing at all when possible). I know I will have the opportunity to get this speedo wet soon. This is a great fitting suit, classic style and cut, simple classic look that accentuates everything very well. I definitely give it a DATING MATERIAL rating. I am sure some of you speedo and bikini buffs would consider it a match made in heaven as well!
