It is Thursday after all, which means a thong. I wasn’t necessarily married to holiday cheer or anything, but when I saw the red and white stripes all I could think of was a candy cane and figured it was very appropriate for today. It is Christmas Eve after all. Does anyone out there hang them all over the tree? I haven’t had a tree for years, and we definitely don’t have any hanging on this years…nope, no way, no how. Not here in this household.
Now I have to be honest, I don’t like the taste of a candy cane – unless we are talking those flavoured ones. I don’t like peppermint and since that is what candy canes taste like,I usually pass! I’ve had this thong a while – got it from a friend in Australia who wore it and then sent it over to me to enjoy. I have one in another colour too somewhere, will try and dig it up after the holidays. I think that one is either blue or black and white stripes…so might be somewhat appropriate for the New Years celebrations if I can find it!
