Sometimes a basic (read plain) pair of briefs can get a huge upgrade when the waistband isn’t just standard stock. A colourful one can make or break an otherwise basic pair of undies/briefs. One with the logo of the company can be seen as branding. One that’s too thin or too thick can make even the most comfortable pair of briefs/undies a no go. At least it can for me. AussieBum did some really wide waistband briefs a few years ago and I just couldn’t stand the waistband on them.
Take today’s pair of briefs from Andrew Christian’s. It is a basic pair of briefs, in a fun blue colour. They have a nice pouch on them and a full back. But there isn’t anything that really makes them stand out, until you get to the waistband. There is a fun pop of colour on these and that makes them anything but ordinary.
