For my review I was given a pair of base layer tights (black in size medium), and a stringer tank (blue, size medium). I love me a good pair of compression tights as the majority of my training is for endurance so I want my clothes to cling. These tights, available currently in white or black were a great fit. They feature a zipper pocket for ID & keys or phone while out running, and some great seaming to work with the contours of your legs. As a guy with a big booty and quads I appreciated that I was able to comfortably get in and out of these tights while still feeling like everything was in place. The fabric is a little thicker than many tights I own, but just as flexible if not more. I would recommend wearing shorts over these tights, or another layer of compression under them as there is a fairly visible VPL (unless you are into that sort of thing). As I moved in these they felt great on the legs, however when squatting / lunging they did fall down my butt a little bit so I would recommend a layer of compression underwear underneath to avoid plumbers crack.
I also had the privilege of testing out the stringer tank. This was constructed well with a great moisture wicking stretchy fabric…super easy to move in. I do think if you are doing a lot of different styles of movement and are less broad in the shoulders and skinny in the waist like me you should consider ordering a size down from what you normally wear. I had to adjust the neckline and shoulder straps a lot while I worked out. Overall though, a nice looking tank. Currently these are available in black, gray, blue or white featuring the Poseidon logo on the chest. I will be ordering a black one soon to test my theory on sizing.
Overall I am pleased with how these items fit while I moved. I did a body weight aerobic workout in these tights and tank (lunges, squats, jumps, core work, running, etc.) to really put them to the test. They performed really well for how they are priced, and for a picky fitness person like me that is super important! I’m excited to add these to my workout rotation and wear them again and again! Excited to hopefully see some additional color options and base layer underwear in the future. Overall my rating on these items is: Dating Material: The fit is great, sits well, accentuates the positives and wears really well – suitable for all day wear.
