It is the beginning of Summer and we’re seeing people wear clothes we haven’t been able to wear in public since the COVID panic. And that means tiny navy swim briefs! Well, for me, it is, thanks to CheapUndies.
CheapUndies started in 2011 “in a trendy little town called Richmond, VA,’ according to their website. “CheapUndies believes that men’s and women’s cheap underwear should not only be affordable but also genuinely comfortable and attractive.” And my swimsuit is very attractive.
I received a medium navy swim brief with a lovely attention to my package. I knew I wanted to wear the suit, but where? I got a brilliant idea to wear it to my partner’s hot yoga class. I did ask if it was all right (I didn’t want to surprise him) and he said it was all right.
A couple days later, I wore the swim briefs to my partner’s class. There’s only two of us students (it’s Memorial weekend) and my partner. It’s 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius) with 30% humidity. I know that’s torture for some, but for me, it’s heaven! Anyway, let’s find out how my swim brief worked in class.
The medium size for the suit was PERFECT. The color looks great on my skin. Nornally, you wouldn’t wear these swim briefs to a hot yoga class. You’d wear them at a pool party or on a cruise. However, the swim brief did work pretty well during the class. It was soaked! However, the fit around my quads was problematic. I have pretty big quads, so what may be a perfect size with average sized legs won’t work for someone like me who has muscular legs. The fit did chafe during my practice, but like I said, these aren’t made for an intense hot yoga class.

It is perfect for going to the beach or a pool party. It’ll look AMAZING on any type of body, in my honest opinion. I think it did with me. The sizes are a true fit, so order what your size is. However, if you do have big legs and a perkier behind, I strongly suggest going one size up.
