I never start out wanting to take this much time off from the blog and something I love. I’m not oblivious to the number of hours in a day, I am just obviously busy – and even busier than I anticipated. Either way, oblivious or obviously busy, I am getting a post in today, while I can. And if you’ll notice my nice tease, I’ve gotten the underwear brand in there too!
I’ve been in the UK for just over three weeks, and I am so excited to be back, but I have been so beyond busy that I haven’t had a chance to post anything. This is so not like a typical London trip where I get up in the am, hit the gym, shower eat a casual breakfast and then watch some Homes Under the Hammer and catch up on all the emails that came in overnight. Nope…this one has been full on and intense and I have been out of the hotel most mornings earlier than I am typically even at the gym.
The joys of returning to work in the midst of a global pandemic! I am enjoying the little bits of down time I have had in London, but it is not the same London I remember. Lots of shops have closed along the high streets, and even more have closed in other locations. We are in a post Brexit and pandemic society here and it feels a bit like a post-apocalyptic movie in some ways. So, oblivious or obviously busy, some of the usual haunts wouldn’t be there anyway and that is a shame. I threw on these Obviously navy blue briefs today. I love they softness of the modal and the way they are cut. Low rise, but not obnoxious. The pouch is generous, but not too big where you can get lost. Great addition to the wardrobe and I’m so glad I purchased them.
