Hey guys, this time we asked you if you wore underwear underneath running shorts that already have a built in liner. It seems there are more and more running/gym shorts that have a built in liner. But gone are the days of the “windbreaker” material with a thin liner underneath. There are so many styles out there when it comes to material and length of shorts to style of built in underwear.
Now I am the first to admit, I am a jock guy for running/working out…maybe an occasional thong. I tend to wear looser mesh/slinky gym shorts and like skimpy undies that still support underneath. I have never really been that into traditional running shorts with built in liners. The liners are usually loose and awkward, with no true style, cut, or fit.
Thanks to muscle/fit conscious brands of clothing/underwear that cater to gay and body conscious men, short gym shorts are back in style and here to stay. Andrew Christian, N2N, and similar brands are marketing sexy tight little shorts as gym wear, and it is working. A quick glance on ebay will also uncover thousands of hot knock-offs at a reduced price.
Shorts like these have changed my mind on running shorts! They are super short, modern, sexy and just the right amount of snug. This pair has a skimpy built in jock. Perfectly in line with my gym choices all built in one.
Now, a more traditional style gym short made by companies like Nike, etc….can still be a more moderate/less slutty option. Not as fun and sexy, but still athletic and comfy. No need for extra undies.
I have even found a little longer/looser style that has a built in boxer brief. Nice for a little more coverage and gym days where your shorts may ride or slide up a good bit. They are very comfy and feel good against the boys 😉
All in all, there is a whole new market of comfortable and even sexy gym shorts with a wide range of underwear silhouette options built in. You might be surprised what you may discover and really like….yes, even us underwear whores may be willing to forgo the usual jockstrap for a day.
love the built in jock strap shorts! and they look amazing on you! I love my lululemon running shorts with the built in longer/boxerbrief style liner!
Your underwear may well be your most important article of clothing, and cutting yourself short in this department has far-reaching implications.
