I took the day off today. I’ve been away from my life for 5 weeks, I’m entitled to one day to catch up. I had to unpack (still in progress), put clothes and souvenirs and life away. I had to get some groceries (basics done) hit my gym again, and I had to just get back into a way of life and a routine here in NYC again. It really feels like I left my life and have now returned to it. I had creature comforts, and a great time whilst away, but it wasn’t home and it wasn’t my life. I’m back now and eager to get stuck in. I will go back to the office tomorrow…that will be fun.
