I’ve come to a few realizations recently, and I am trying to put them into practice in my daily life. It’s not easy. I’m not thrilled feeling like I’m surrounded by clutter and being suffocated by possessions. I need to start letting go of things. I have already downsized a great deal over the last few years, but I feel the need now, more than ever, to let go of more. There are things that are just hanging around because I have a hard time parting with them. Not going to happen anymore. I am letting go. I am thinning out. I can’t be so attached to things anymore. I need to get more organized. I need to feel less over-whelmed by what I have and start getting more simple. Today is a prime example. I know these to be really comfortable briefs, they fit well, they are super easy to wear but I have them in so many colours (and I’m pretty sure two or three pair in this blue) and it’s just at the point where it’s too much. I can’t possibly enjoy them when I don’t get to wear things in my collection on a regular basis. I’m into year three for god’s sake. It has to stop.
