Blog 36: Yocisco Review: Where Sexy Starts

You can be forgiven for not knowing much about YOCISCO underwear, until I was asked if I wanted to review them I hadn’t heard of them. Believe me, that’s going to change.

Now i’m a huge believer in doing my homework for a review, I like you the reader to have as much information about the company and brand as possible. For this review however, I need to do things a little different. I want to talk to about the man behind boxers. Cisco started his career in 1999 as an exotic dancer in the Denver nightclub scene, from there followed a very successful and rewarding career as a dancer/model. At 36, this beautiful man continues to evolve his craft as a businessman and visionary, while building a legacy for his family, in particular his daughter.  After years of dancing in nothing more than his underwear, Cisco was inspired to create a line of men’s underwear. YOCISCO Underwear, where sexy starts (which is the line’s motto), launched in June 2013 and combines color blocking, style and edge to create the perfect pair of sexy, yet comfortable briefs.  In addition to putting his mark on the fashion industry, Cisco manages a male entertainment company, Cisco’s Boyz, which he founded in 2009. Now for the underwear : Where Sexy Starts Trunk Size Small. Where sexy starts indeed! These trunks are made from 95% Bamboo and 5% Elastin, this makes them incredibly soft and light the high density elastic logo waistband keeps them from riding up or falling down. The general sizing is great I was wearing the small and sometimes I find they can either be too small or the waistband or legs will dig into me leaving very unflattering marks. For these I would definitely say if you wear a small buy a small, medium buy a medium etc. The trunks have a lift-fit pouch, it’s nothing major or in your face as with some underwear it sort of just lets you hang whilst still keeping everything in place. A screened printed graphics of Where Sexy Starts to the rear and YC insignia on the left leg and rear waistband will ensure everyone knows what you’re wearing. It looks like for now at least they are only available in this Blue/Green colour but they are available in sizes small – X-large

Flirting Material:  It fits okay, great to wear out for a short amount of time.

Hook Up Material:  The fit is much better, sits well and wears well but might not be comfortable for all day wear.

Dating Material:  The fit is great, sits well, accentuates the positives and wears really well – suitable for all day wear.

Match Made in Heaven:  You love the fit, you love the style, best undies you’ve worn in  years and will be a part of your regular wear.

Now i’m not normally one for boxers or trunks, I usually prefer mine small and tight, a nice brief or a jock. Something that keeps me all in place and not too ‘bulgy’. That being said…. I Love these! they feel great, they look amazing, they are very well made really good attention to detail and stitching. You can tell that a lot of time and effort and love has gone into not just creating and designing them but also making them. These are without a doubt a 10/10 for me, definitely a match made in heaven. They will be part of my regular rotation no questions asked.
