It’s Humpday and I’m in a jockstrap today from N2NBodywear. They were one of the first brands that I started collecting in earnest and they have remained among my favourites ever since. This jock is bright blue…and is a year or two old, from their signature collection. It’s super comfy, and has a nice sized pouch to it. What I loved about N2N was that their pouch wasn’t too big that you looked dwarfed unless you were packing, but it wasn’t so small that you got crushed unless you were packing. It is the perfect midsize pouch for those of us not on either end of the size spectrum.
It’s also Humpday – which for the blog means it is Healthy Humpday. I’m going to start talking about my health journey on Wednesdays – Humpday. Maybe some of the other bloggers will follow. I recently quit the gym/club that I have been a member of for over a decade. It wasn’t an easy decision to make – I enjoyed working out there, and all the eye candy. It wasn’t financially making sense anymore though. I travel so much that I was only in there for two weeks of the month on average and the cost was too high for that. I would also carry everything I needed to go to the gym and go after work, and could easily talk myself out of that if it was cold or there was weather, etc. I have a gym in the apt building, right on the ground floor. It’s not amazing, but it has lots of cardio machines and some free weights. It gets the job done. I have been going every morning before my day starts. That has led to a more positive experience throughout the day. I feel more energized. I don’t have to trek extra weight with me and at the end of the day, I just go home. It’s also allowed me to keep a routine – something I thrive on. Even on days when I have an early car or flight and I’m getting up at 3:30am, I can get at least a quick cardio session in before I shower and get on with it. My Healthy Humpday confession.
