We all own underwear we LOVE, underwear we like and underwear we tolerate. The ones we love are the obvious choices when you open your drawer. The ones you are drawn too. At one point in time, Obviously was that brand for me. I loved the hang free pouch and the ease with which you could wear them. They were, for me, an obvious choice. How could anyone not like them?
For someone with big balls or who is really hung – they’re great. For those of us that are average or below – the pouch is too big. When other brands started bringing out hang free pouches, that were a bit smaller to accommodate the average guy and not leave excessive extra, I started to gravitate towards them instead. I’ve gotten rid of most of my Obvious briefs at this point…passed them on to friends, fellow underwear lovers, sold them….I have hung onto a pair or two though, for nostalgia. This bright red pair is one of them. At one point an obvious choice, now, a second tier one. What are your obvious choices? Do you have go to brands? Styles? Cuts? What makes the top tier for you?
