sidewalk rage…

reports came out today that there is conclusive proof that sidewalk rage resists. Anyone who lives in NYC (or any other major city for that matter) could have told you this and a long time ago. We get easily frustrated by tourists that take up an entire sidewalk so that all 4 of them can see the same sights at the same time, or stop in the middle of the sidewalk for a picture or to check the map when they could have easily moved to the side. I know, I know – they’re tourists. But, you know what, I’m a tourist too when I visit places, and my friends and I don’t take an entire sidewalk to ourselves as we walk – we don’t stop in the middle of the street to consult a map – if we must stop in the street, we move to the side and while we might like to all walk together, we usually walk in groups of two so as to not take over the entire walk. It’s all about common sense – and yes, I am a tourist in some places. And, by the way – to the geniuses that commissioned this study – I would love for you to commission one on subway rage. I mean, don’t stand in front of the damn door whilst I’m trying to get out or you will get my ire and stop putting your hands and body in my junk…the train might be crowded, but it’s not that crowded!

here’s the teal Timoteo jock I’ve had on all day…love it…way comfy – will have to get more of these!
