I’m liking all the snow that we’re getting here in NYC lately. I know I’m probably in the minority on this. I grew up upstate NY and can remember winters growing up where we had snow all the time every winter. 4 inches of snow was not a reason for a snow day, or even a school delay. I remember very few snow days when I was a kid, and I can remember being dwarfed by the piles of snow after the driveway had been cleared.
We’ve gone soft. After a few years or not a lot of snow, a few inches now and we’re paralyzed with fear – what’s that about? And all the complaining about the snow…I mean really folks, we do live in the NorthEast…if you want the sun – move to LA or Miami! It’s not even February yet – we’ve got weeks to go!
