Basix day, even though it’s Friday the 13th. No walking under ladders or petting black cats. I’m sitting here in the kitchen watching the news, finishing my coffee as I type this and I’m so inspired by the folks in London who are protesting. They are in disagreement, and protesting peacefully in the tens of thousands in the heart of central London. That’s the way to do it. Anyway, it’s the end of my work week today, and I pulled from the TBD pile, again. I’m trying to dwindle it before I start pulling from the new and the older keep pile again. So, these have been sitting on the top of the pile for a while and I keep looking at them, so today, I decided to pull them on. They’re a pair from the Basix line of Andrew Christian, and they’ve been around for a while. I like them, I just wish they were cut a bit smaller on the sides. I’m also not sure there’s enough stretch in the waist and legs, but we’ll see how they feel all day. They fit, but they were a bit tight being pulled on. Maybe that’s what makes them Basix.
