Anatomy of a decision…or what to do with undies in the TBD pile…

If you’ve been following me or the blog, you’ll know that I am in a state of trying to get everything in the TBD pile worn and decided upon. But what goes into the anatomy of those decisions? How do I decide whether to keep or pass on a pair of undies? Well, the over-riding factor is do I feel sexy in them? If I don’t feel sexy in them, I won’t feel like I look sexy in them. So, step one. After that, it’s comfort. Are they easy to wear? Easy to get on? Do they feel good on? Do they bulge in all the right places, and not in the wrong ones? Are there any annoying or quirky things about them that would be detrimental – like tags that scratch in the back, raised, puffy lettering on the waist band that just feels gross under my clothes or when I touch it. anatomy

Do I like or enjoy the colour or pattern? All of that goes into the anatomy of my decision making process, and it happens in probably a few minutes, max. Today, for example, I am in these bright blue BLOW briefs from Andrew Christian. I love they way they feel material wise. I love the way they look. I love the colours and the pop of neon. I feel great in them. I hate the raised, puffy lettering on the waistband though. It feels awkward every time I have to touch the waistband. It might be great and look great in a photo shoot or if you’re go go dancing, but in real life, for every day wear, not for me.
