We asked you – a long time ago what the dominant colour in your underwear drawer was. And you voted. A LOT of you voted. This is our most voted on poll yet. 213 of you told us what colours were in your drawers. Thanks for that! So, out of 213 votes, here is how it all broke down:
In last place, with only 1.4% of the vote (3 votes) it’s Yellow. I have to admit, I don’t have much of this colour either and it would probably rank last in my drawer as well.
Right in front of that with 2.8% of the vote (6 votes each) was a tie with Orange and Green. Again, not much of all of these colours for me either.
In front of that, in 7th place with 4.21% of the vote (9 votes) was Grey. This one shocked me a little, if I’m honest. It is such a staple colour, I figured it would rank a bit further up in the rankings.
6th place, with 5.14% of the voe (11 votes) was Pink. This was a colour, that when I listed it I thought would be in last position, so I’m pleased to see that I’m not the only one with some pink in my drawers.
5th place with 6.07% (13 votes) of the vote was purple. That’s about where I thought this one would place. It’s a dark enough colour that guys don’t tend to be put off by it, but it’s still not going to be top tier for the vast majority of us.
4th place with 11.68% (25 votes) of the vote was White. Honestly thought this one would have ranked a bit higher with so many guys still favouring tighty whiteys. Wasn’t expecting it to pull out the top slot, but I was thinking it would be 2nd or 3rd place.
3rd place with 12.67% (27 votes) of the votes was Red. I was thinking this one, like purple would middle out, so excited to see it a bit further up in the rankings.
2nd place, and runner up should the top colour fail to deliver, with 21.96% (47 votes) of the vote is Blue. Honestly, I thought this was the one colour that could have taken top slot as so many guys I know have an affinity for blue. It definitely has the most presence in my undies collection.
First place, with 31.31% (67 votes) of the vote is Black. I’m not really surprised, I wasn’t sure which would take top honours between Blue and Black, but I’m hardly surprised. I feel like it is the top choice colour for most guys when they want something that isn’t white, but is also a safe option.
It’s the weekend, so I’ve opted to just give you one post for the whole of the weekend and my choices clearly reflect the spectrum of our colour options on offer as guys. I was in this pink and grey striped brief from Andrew Christian on Saturday and then this blue and grey striped bikini from N2N Bodywear today. Both are wicked comfortable and I’m so glad I brought them with. As a bonus, it was a blue pair of Under Armour 3/4 length tights for my workouts over the weekend. Wicked comfortable – wore them on their own with a tshirt one day and then with a pair of shorts over the next.
