I’ve been through blizzards and other severe winter weather, I’ve lived through power outages and 9/11 in Manhattan, I’ve even been through Hurricane watches when I lived on Cape Cod…I’ve never been through a tornado watch before…and what’s the difference between a tornado watch and a tornado warning anyway? So…I’m sitting in the apt, trying to decompress a little and it’s storming outside…I can hear it over the tv and the AC…I had to get up and look. I check out the local weather and find out I’m under a Tornado Watch…along with 31 other counties…
and by the way, the difference is a watch means that tornadoes are possible, a warning means tornadoes have been sighted and you should take shelter…now I have to find out where that is…
