One of the first facts about NYCer’s that everyone points out is NYCers wear all black. No colour. All black. All day, every day. I used to work with colleagues that had a phrase “all black, all over…” meaning that when they did wear all black, they wore it all over.
While I’m an overall fan of colour, and not all of them at the same time, I am sometimes guilty of being a NYCer and wearing all black. I don’t subscribe to my previous colleagues mantra though. I might be in all black from head to toe, but my underwear will always provide me with a pop of colour. Like today for instance. I’m in a pair of purple JW Collection briefs that are bright purple. That was the only colour I had on today though. The rest of me was NYCer through and through.
