RWraith Underwear Storage – Theme Week

Hey boys!!

I was suppose to post this last night so I apologize. I got distracted by shiny objects and forgot.

Isn’t it funny that we are chatting about storage around Christmas time. A time when we usually need to do a little reorganizing and weeding out of our closets and dressers in order to fit all the new clothes/underwear we hope to get or already bought for yourselves. 

I wish I could say that my underwear storage is some well organized and amazing thing but its really not. I’m sure I am holding on to more than I need and or wear but when you love underwear its hard to admit to needed to get rid of some.

Anyways, my system is simple. cloth bins. I have 4 cloth bins that sit on an upper shelf in my closet. We have a walk-in closet and it has a shelf that wraps all the way around the 3 walls. On “my side” of the closet I have the 4 bins on the shelf. Each bin is labeled. 

1. Boxer Briefs
2. Briefs
3. Jocks
4. Socks

I’m sure you asking what about thongs? Well since that sub-category of my collection isn’t as large as the others I have them in a dresser drawer. I actually separate out the thongs and my “athletic” jocks into this drawer. I have two small IKEA drawer dividers in this drawer that keep the athletic jocks and the thongs very organized.

Furthermore, I’m not too sure if its noticeable in all the photos but I do fold and then roll all my various styles of underwear. I helps to store them all in the various areas. Granted, with the jocks bin, I go in and out of it so much that it just really becomes a disaster and I have to dig and/or dump it all when searching for something specific. I would agree with what Undiesboy said in his post, if I had a whole dresser for just my underwear I would probably use a bunch of the IKEA dividers and not only separate by style but also brand. But that’s a far off dream I’m sure.
