Travel in the contagion age…or just travel…

It’s a bit unsettling to travel when there are all sorts of contagions you can get, just by getting on a plane. I mean, travel in the contagion age is no joke. You get onto a sliver tube, breathe recycled air for hours at a time and land in a different country altogether. Films like Contagion and World War Z aren’t lying when they showcase just how easy it is to transmit these things worldwide without even knowing. I’m not paranoid, in the slightest. Please don’t take this as that.

But I do travel in the contagion age quite a large amount. This isn’t my first time around the globe during an “epidemic.” It does make you wonder though. I have left a flight with a stomach virus after having been healthy and hearty when I got on the plane, so it happens. I have been in two WORLD airports yesterday and it was an experience. People wearing masks, which makes people panic even more. I was in this bright pair of Barcode briefs for my flight yesterday and they were really comfortable to have on all day. Today I’m in a pair of pink Andrew Christian briefs for a first day here and to catch up on jet lag.
