Today, I was sent a pair of the Pink Mens Briefs from Dingodude. Dingodude started in 2011 in New South Wales, Australia with a focus on environmentally-friendly sourced material. Utilizing advancements in fabric manufacture, their focus on bamboo as their primary material and vibrant colors makes them stand out as a brand. But, will this “dude” be howling about them by the end of the day?
The Pink Mens Brief is one of three styles (which includes briefs, trunks, and boxer-briefs) within their brand, and part of a larger line of colors (including 10 different combinations). This brief is 95% bamboo and 5% elastane, and has a traditional y-front design and contrast piping. The material felt silky without being slick, and the stitching did not appear to be loose in any spots. I was sent the Pink brief in size Medium, which is my preferred size. The waistband was comfortable, staying in place all day and not causing any irritation.
I got a quick workout in this morning, and gave them a try during my routine. They kept my package close to the body, which is a little tighter than I prefer up front, but it was never uncomfortable. And while these briefs kept everything in place, they did occasionally ride up in the back, which was most noticeable when on the stationary bike.
I also incorporated these pink briefs into my work outfit, pairing them with a pink button-up, grey chinos, a grey vest, a white-and-grey tie, and some pink-and-grey argyle socks. After all, why should Wednesday be the only day to wear pink?
The Undies 101 official rating system is as follows:
- Flirting Material: It fits okay, great to wear out for a short amount of time.
- Hook Up Material: The fit is much better, sits well and wears well but might not be comfortable for all day wear.
- Dating Material: The fit is great, sits well, accentuates the positives and wears really well – suitable for all day wear.
- Match Made in Heaven: You love the fit, you love the style, best undies you’ve worn in years and will be a part of your regular wear.
This brief is definitely Dating Material. These briefs were soft and felt nice to wear, though as stated before: I prefer a little more room in the pouch. Additionally, they did tend to slip between my cheeks a little more than I expected. I loved how vibrant the colors were though!
You can get the Pink Mens Brief, and find other colors and styles at Dingodude.com.au.
thanks for launching the reviews Rob! Love the pink on you…can’t wait to see what everyone else thinks of theirs!
