So, you start your week. You get the week moving and you want to just plug on ahead. Then Tuesday rolls around, and without even realizing it, you have already forgotten what day of the week it is. I guess that happens when things are crazy busy. Or that your focus is so many other places. I am in a nice pair of black and blue briefs from Andrew Christian today – kind of appropriate that they’re black and blue as I feel a bit bruised at not knowing what day of the week it even is.
Tuesday happened, and I didn’t even know. For whatever reason, I woke up, started my day, hopped in the shower and was out getting dressed – picking out my underwear – and couldn’t remember what day it was. Face Palm. That doesn’t usually happen to me, but during this pandemic it has been happening a LOT. I’m kind of over it, to be honest. I need to get back into the routine of getting up, going to the gym (when it finally reopens) and getting my ass to the office (when that finally happens as well). I miss my life. I miss knowing that it’s Tuesday – or whatever day of the week it happens to be.
