Back in the day friends and I would take road trips with mixed tapes at the ready and cameras (not the one on phones – way before that) in hand. Dr. Pepper and Twizzlers were a staple and good music was a must. Hence the mixed tapes – I mean, you do need good music when you’re out on the open road with places to go and things to see and take photos of along the way. And wow, did I take lots of photos and of really random shit…I guess I still do on trips, it is all just digital clutter now, not actual clutter.
These days, road trips are a thing of the past – for the most part. Took one this weekend and drove up to see my parents and the family in drive by/driveway hellos to drop off presents and just say hi in general. It resulted in bringing a few things back from Mom and Dads from days gone by. Lots of boxes of photos which I’ve spent the morning going through just to toss duplicates. Also in the box were a few mixed tapes from the road trips days. Lots of memories there…and now, of course, also lots of clutter that I will need to spend a few days cleaning up and sorting through.
Yesterday was the drive, so wanted something comfortable and easy to wear and this pair of blue Andrew Christian briefs were perfect. Comfortable, pouch, easy to wear and great for sitting most of the day in the car. Today it was this pair of Modus Vivendi green string bikinis. I got these off Cheap Undies recently and I actually really like them. Got a tan colour too, so you’ll see those at some point. I do love a good pair of string bikinis these days and these from MV are amazing!
