Welcome to the new world order. We have the first long weekend of 2021 and there’s still not a lot that I can do with all the extra time. I’m not sure if that is because I still don’t feel comfortable venturing out into the world for extended periods – you know, pandemic and not following the basic guidelines of distancing and masks. It could also have to do with the weather – it has been colder here in NYC of late.
To be fair, it is probably a combination of both. I wish that this long weekend we were in a better place when it came to the pandemic, because despite the chill in the air, I would venture out a bit if I felt more comfortable. Sooner or later, I am going to have to get more at ease with venturing out in the world. It’s not like I don’t – I go to the store when I have to, but usually shop online. I run downstairs to the Walgreens (yeah, yeah, it’s Duane Reade here in the city…blah, blah, blah…) for anything last minute we might need. I go into the office once a week and get tested. I try and time other errands around already being out to minimize my exposure. I hate that people can’t even have common decency and wear a mask.
Anyway – this long weekend, I took a break from posting on Friday and decided to save everything up for a post today – and of course another tomorrow. On Friday I was in a new pair of Modus Vivendi seamless bikinis I got a while back on Cheap Undies. They’re super fun. Love the fabric, love the cut and absolutely love the navy colour. Saturday was a pair of royal blue Andrew Christian briefs. They’re from the black collection, but have an Almost Naked pouch…so they really could be either collection, to be fair. Today I am in this pair of JSoxx bright orange bikini briefs. I love these – they are so fun to wear and I have them in a few colours. Wish I could still find them!
