I find myself being more emotional about the passing of Senator Kennedy than I thought I would be.
I lived in MA for a few years, but, unfortunately, I never had the privilege of voting for his re-election to the senate.
He was a great senator, despite what people might think of his personal life. He was a great champion for those less fortunate, for civil rights, for democracy, and he will be missed.
