Excuses…


so, there are so many excuses that people offer about not going to the gym and being active. We all have them. But how good are they? I don’t have time? I want a day off, to not worry about it. There’s so much else going on in my life.

I finally started to break down my excuses a little to try and keep myself motivated to go. For instance – I want a day off, to not worry about the gym. Well, I don’t take a day off from eating, and even though I am watching what I am putting into my body calorie wise, I don’t take a day off from eating. That excuse is gone. I don’t have time. Well, I spent an hour and half drinking coffee watching a little TV and surfing the web as I was waking up this morning, and I slept in until 11 am. I have time, I just need to make time. I need to stop making excuses and just go.

So, I went, this afternoon and spent an hour on the bike. 60 minutes at 85 RPM…612 calories and 19.9 miles! I was soaked! And it was well worth the time and effort to go. I was only in the gym an hour and half by the time all was said and done…really not that bad at all!

Here’s the 2xist no shows, I think from the Carbon line, that I pulled on this afternoon after the sauna and shower. There was nobody else in the sauna with me today…so nice and relaxing. Not sure how I feel about these undies…they feel really tight in the pouch…and very constricting…
