it often perplexes me what people think when they carry wads of cash around. Do they not have a bank account or a bank/debit card nowadays?
I personally don’t carry cash, unless I ultimately have to. I live in NYC…you can pay for a 2.50 sandwich with your debit card. I don’t want to carry cash…too risky, too much potential to lose it, or having been mugged before, be mugged.
not sure what made me think of that today, but it might be that I was in line to buy something, and someone in front of me was actually counting out singles and change to pay for their purchase…maybe it’s a new gym routine…carry around extra change as weight. Who knows.
