aren’t they all at this point? I just feel like Valentine’s Day is especially so. I don’t really know how it became that way. When I was little Valentine’s Day used to be a big celebration, as I got older, it was nice when I had boyfriends, but not so nice when I didn’t. Then I really started thinking about why this was so. I should feel the same about the day whether I am single or attached. And, now I do. Now I look at it for what it is, another day on the calendar. Nothing more, nothing less. If I love someone, it should be expressed whenever I feel the need, not just one day a year. I know, I know. Call me a scrooge, but it’s the reality, is it not?
