I apparently wasn’t thinking when I packed yesterday, or wasn’t paying attention. The pair of underwear I grabbed and threw in my bag for today is another pair of Tighty Whitey Punked briefs. At least they are comfortable and easy to wear. I was up early to head out and run in my first 5K today. I ran a Color Me Rad race and it was my first ever 5K. I looked like I had been in a smurf orgy by the time we were done, but I ran the whole race and finished in about a half hour – not too shabby. One of my goals before I turned 40 was to run a 5K – check. I have only been running for about 3 years now, 2 of them barefoot so I’m really excited to have won and finished! =) Quick trip to run the race, see the family, bring home souvenirs and then back to my own bed tonight!
