Dakota’s TOP 10 ways to make jockstraps more mainstream!!!

Well guys, you clearly spoke in the latest poll and said that the style of underwear you wish were more mainstream was a jockstrap.  I concur, as it is no secret I love my jockstraps!

So, the question is boys….how do we help make jockstraps more mainstream???

10.   Buy them.  Be seen buying them.  Ok, so it may not be unusual to buy a jock in a sporting goods store. But if you see a fashion jock on the rack at a department store, be proud and buy one in front of other guys!

9.  Air your (dirty) laundry.  Use the laundromat? Complex laundry facilities?  Perfect!  Fold your jocks in public as you are doing your laundry.  Be casual 😉

8.  Strap up under your gym clothes!  Jocks are my underwear of choice for the gym.  Not only do I just love them, they are comfortable and offer support for workouts and cardio.  I take mine a little further sometimes and show some strap under white or light color mesh/gym shorts…..

I love showing off my underwear choice sometimes.  Occasionally, I will catch a glimpse of waistband and skin above a guy’s shorts at the gym and get so excited that I am not the only jocked dude!

7.  Strap up out of your gym clothes.  Better yet, be proud and strap in the locker room.  Don’t do the towel dance, don’t hurry and sling it in your bag.  Take your time.  Be confident. Show off your jock and your comfort level being in it.  Opt for your jock instead of a towel heading into the showers.  I’ve even sat in the sauna in just my jock before.  I figure if some guys sit in there in their Underarmour compression underwear, why can’t I wear my strap?

6.  Oops I forgot my belt…..don’t be afraid to let a bit of waistband hang out and show above your jeans.  Show guys that wearing a jock as everyday underwear is cool and common.  I love reaching down for something at the grocery store and revealing my jock!

3.   Hang out with your buddies in jocks.  Be comfortable and natural about it.  Jake and I have some buddies that we have just hung out in our undies with.  Chatting, drinking, watching movies.  Make it a normal part of who you are, no big deal.  Of course, sometimes it can lead to lots of fun…..

2. Spread the jockstrap love!  Word of mouth is always the best advertisement.  Tell your friends you wear them. Talk up your favorite brands, what you’re wearing for the day and why you love it.  Pick one up when out shopping with a bud.  Give a jockstrap as a gift to a good friend.

1.  Find a venue to let it all hang out (well almost)….There are always special clubs or events that allow near nudity.  Gear or sports nights. Pride festivals. These venues usually support individuality in all shapes, sizes, colors, and styles.

Jockstraps were a favorite at the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco!  I was in heaven…and posing with a porn star or two didn’t hurt either….guys should take a cue from the hot porn studs!

I had the pleasure of getting up close and personal with these three in a friendly game of jockstrap Twister!  Being in a totally accepting free environment like this was so validating.  The freedom and confidence you feel surrounded by like minded people is refreshing!
