Day 495 – Baby Blue Funderwear Bikinis

I can’t believe it’s been 495 days and I still have no end in sight! This is driving me mental, to be quite honest. I have agreed to not wear any one pair for a second time until I have worn them all once, and I am abiding by that challenge. I just never thought I would get this far. I have done this once or twice before and I have never gone this long…so obviously I have accumulated more new underwear. That’s why I have been weeding through the collection and getting rid of ones that I have already worn and know I won’t be again. There are some great undies in my collection and just because I really enjoyed the colour or brand or cut, doesn’t mean they fit me well, looked good on me, made me feel sexy or any other combination of all of the above. My new standards are strict. If they don’t fit me well – if there’s any little thing that annoyed me about the cut or material – if I don’t look good in them I’m not going to feel going to feel good or sexy in them – then I am not going to keep them anymore. That meant there are a bunch of them in the IKEA bag full of undies I’m not keeping. I just don’t have the room either. Let’s face it, I live in NYC where room is scarce and I cannot devote two whole dressers to underwear and not have room for jeans, tshirts, etc. Something had to go! I got these from a friend in Aruba who introduced me to the brand. I really fell in love with them. They look too small when you pull them out of the drawer – like they are for kids and you’re never going to even get them up your thigh, but they just wrap themselves around you and conform to your every curve. They are all cotton so super comfortable to have on all day. Love them!
