Fitness Challenge: Hydration!

Hey all!

I hope the pull up challenge is proving successful and stimulating for you! I’ve incorporated them into my training for the Tough Mudder, and over the past few weeks I’ve gotten pretty good!

This week we approach St. Patrick’s Day, where everyone decides they are Irish for a festive (and often rambunctious) evening or two. With the holiday in mind, I want to remind everyone about the power of water.

Water is necessary for all of our body’s processes. From muscle growth to fat burning, water is a prime factor in meeting your health goals. That’s why you often see body builders walking around the gym with a gallon of water.

Additionally, when we feel tired or hungry, it’s often that we are actually mildly dehydrated. We sometimes confuse our body’s desire for water with our desire for sleep or food.

Because of this, your challenge this week is to drink 8 full glasses of water every day. See how it effects your mind and body, and changes the way you view hunger.
